Development Roadmap

Quebec Roleplay Server Roadmap

Quebec Roleplay is currently being built on top of DXRP , a roleplay framework that gives us a strong base for jobs, economy, systems, and server progression.

Our goal is to start with a stable foundation, then gradually add custom gameplay, new content, optimizations, and unique features for the community. The roadmap below shows the current development direction and expected phases.

Phase 1 — Setup DXRP

Install DXRP properly, verify the server startup, understand the existing files, and test the default systems such as inventory, jobs, and money.

Phase 2 — Custom Gameplay

Customize jobs, vehicles, economy, interface colors, and roleplay survival systems to make the server feel more personal and unique.

Phase 3 — Content Expansion

Add new systems, new jobs, properties, business features, NPC interactions, and faction or gang progression for deeper roleplay.

Fix bugs, improve performance, polish UI/UX, add anti-cheat protections, and prepare the server for public opening.

Please read the rules carefully before joining the server. These rules are here to keep the community respectful, immersive, and fair for everyone.

Discord Rules

Respect, content, channels, promotion, and community behavior.

🔹 1. Respect First

  • Respect all members of the Discord server.
  • No harassment, discrimination, or hateful speech.
  • Excessive insults or abusive behavior are not tolerated.

🔹 2. Allowed Content

  • No NSFW or shocking content.
  • No spam or flooding.
  • No advertising without staff permission.

🔹 3. Advertising & Promotion

  • Promoting another Discord server is not allowed.
  • Sharing videos, links, or promotional content requires staff approval.
  • Unauthorized advertising may result in a sanction.

🔹 4. Channel Usage

  • Use the correct Discord channels.
  • Avoid off-topic discussions in the wrong channels.
  • Read channel descriptions before posting.

🔹 5. Staff & Decisions

  • Respect staff decisions.
  • Do not argue publicly. Contact staff privately if needed.
  • Staff decisions are final.

🔹 6. General Behavior

  • No excessive trolling or toxic behavior.
  • No fake information or unnecessary drama.
  • Help keep the community friendly and enjoyable 👍

Roleplay Server Rules

Immersion, fair play, RP scenes, and general in-game rules.

🔹 1. Immersion & Roleplay

  • Roleplay is mandatory while playing on the server.
  • Breaking immersion with excessive out-of-character behavior is not allowed.
  • Your character must remain realistic and consistent.

🔹 2. Metagaming

  • ❌ Using out-of-character information in roleplay is forbidden.
  • Examples include streams, Discord messages, or external voice chats.
  • ✔️ Your character may only act on information they learned in-game.

🔹 3. Powergaming

  • ❌ Forcing unrealistic actions on another player is forbidden.
  • Example: “You instantly fall unconscious and cannot react.”
  • ✔️ Always give other players a fair chance to respond.

🔹 4. FearRP

  • You must value your character’s life.
  • Do not act as if your character is invincible.
  • Suicidal actions without a valid RP reason are not allowed.

🔹 5. No Random Deathmatch — RDM

  • ❌ Killing someone without a valid RP reason is forbidden.
  • ✔️ Every violent action must be justified through roleplay.

🔹 6. No Vehicle Deathmatch — VDM

  • ❌ Using a vehicle as a weapon without a valid RP reason is forbidden.
  • ✔️ Vehicles must be used realistically.

🔹 7. RP Scenes

  • Prioritize longer and more immersive roleplay scenes.
  • Do not rush scenes or play in an arcade-style manner.
  • Respect the natural flow of actions and interactions.

🔹 8. Player Behavior

  • Respect between players is mandatory.
  • Toxicity or excessive trolling may result in sanctions.
  • Having fun is encouraged, but it must stay within roleplay.

🔹 9. OOC — Out of Character

  • Use the proper channels for out-of-character discussions.
  • Do not start OOC arguments during RP scenes.
  • Problems should be handled with staff assistance.

🔹 10. Staff & Sanctions

  • Staff decisions are final.
  • Possible sanctions include ⚠️ warning, 🔇 mute, and 🚫 ban.

🔹 11. NLR — New Life Rule

  • After an RP death, your character forgets the previous scene.
  • You may not return to the place of death for 10 minutes.
  • Revenge killing is strictly forbidden.
  • ✔️ Exception: freekill situations may be reviewed by staff.

🔹 12. Gun Dealer Rules

  • You may not give weapons to yourself for free.
  • Weapon purchases must happen through roleplay.
  • You may not gear yourself up before an RP action without reason.

🔹 13. One-Way Props

  • One-way props are strictly forbidden.
  • No shooting or vision advantage without counterplay.
  • No unfair advantage during raids or defense situations.

🔹 14. Prop Blocking

  • Prop blocking is strictly forbidden.
  • Blocking doors, entrances, or pathways is not allowed.
  • Access must remain possible through a keypad, fading door, or open entrance.

🔹 15. Free Arrest

  • Arresting someone without a valid RP reason is forbidden.
  • An arrest must be justified by an RP crime, investigation, or situation.

🔹 16. Griefing

  • Griefing is strictly forbidden.
  • Intentional trolling, sabotage, or disruption is not allowed.

🔹 17. ATM Mugging

  • ATM mugging is strictly forbidden.
  • Camping ATMs is not allowed.
  • Forcing a player to withdraw money is not allowed.

Police Department Rules

Quebec Roleplay — DXRP

🔹 1. RP Behavior

  • A serious and professional attitude is mandatory.
  • Trolling or abuse is not allowed.
  • You represent the law while on duty.

🔹 2. Weapon Usage

  • Weapons may only be used when there is a real threat.
  • De-escalation should always be prioritized.
  • Excessive shooting is considered a serious violation.

🔹 3. ⚠️ Handcuffing = Direct Prison

  • Any player who is handcuffed is automatically sent to prison.
  • Handcuffing without a strong RP reason is forbidden.
  • Always announce: “Police! You are under arrest!”
  • Abuse may result in staff sanctions.

🔹 4. Arrests — Very Important

  • Arrests must be 100% justified through roleplay.
  • Valid examples include crime, fleeing, threats, or refusing to comply.
  • ❌ Handcuffing without reason is forbidden.
  • Every handcuff action is an important decision.

🔹 5. 🔍 Warrants & Evidence

  • A warrant must be supported by concrete evidence.
  • ✔️ Accepted evidence: screenshots, videos, and solid coherent witness statements.
  • ❌ Warrants based only on suspicion are not allowed.
  • Evidence must be available to staff if requested.
  • Abuse of warrants may result in sanctions.

🔹 6. Stops & Searches

  • Stops and searches are only allowed with a valid RP reason.
  • Random searches are not allowed.
  • Respect the player and the RP scene.

🔹 7. Abuse of Power

  • Arresting without a valid RP reason is forbidden.
  • Abusing handcuffs or warrants is forbidden.
  • Any form of power abuse may result in sanctions.

🔹 8. RP First

  • Prioritize interactions.
  • Do not rush scenes.
  • Create good roleplay for everyone involved.

🔹 9. Internal Sanctions

  • Warning → suspension → removal from police duty.
  • Abuse may result in severe sanctions.
